Breastfeeding can be one of life’s most beautiful experiences. In addition to providing nutrition for your baby, it can be a wonderful way for you and your child to bond. The Birth Center at Reedsburg Area Medical Center supports and encourages breastfeeding and offers a variety of services for this special time.
Experienced and knowledgeable members of our breastfeeding team provide comprehensive education and support before and after your baby’s birth. In addition to sharing techniques and answering your questions, they will take every measure to ensure that your breastfeeding experience is successful.
Breastfeeding services
A Lactation Specialist/Breastfeeding area is conveniently located within the Birth Center and offers a wide range of resources for breastfeeding mothers, their infants and families. Jan Hasler, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) is available before, during and after your baby is born. What is a IBCLC?
On-site breast pump rental and/or sales
RAMC is pleased to offer the option to buy or rent Medela® breastpumps and breastfeeding supplies.
