For over 100 years Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC) has been serving the people of Reedsburg and surrounding areas, offering the best possible healthcare.
RAMC is an independent, nonprofit organization that is locally controlled. We are a modern, combination facility consisting of 25 acute care beds, 17 one day surgery beds, and the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center (RASLC), a long term care and assisted living facility.

Welcome! I’d like to take a moment to tell you about an organization that goes beyond the expected in healthcare—Reedsburg Area Medical Center.
RAMC has been a part of this community since 1902. As a healthcare leader, we serve over 23,000 people in Reedsburg and surrounding areas. As an employer, we provide jobs for more than 430 people. As your neighbor, we sponsor a wide variety of education classes and health screenings.
We provide all the general services including obstetrics, pediatrics, inpatient/surgical, intensive care, emergency and urgent care.
Our medical staff currently consists of many qualified active and consulting physicians prepared to meet all your healthcare needs. Consulting physicians come to RAMC on a regular basis, providing specialty care close to home.

Reedsburg Area Specialty Center & Surgery Center, an expansion of RAMC with their own entrances, yet connected to the hospital by a walkway off RAMC’s main lobby, opened in June, 2007.

Beyond the Expected Resale is a resale shop run by RAMC’s Foundation, to support the needs of our community and to benefit healthcare in our community.
Ridgeview Heights Independent Living is a retirement community for people ages 55 years and older.
The Fusch Community Center is a perfect gathering place for Ridgeview neighbors.
Reedsburg Area Medical Center’s Urgent Care Center is open weekday evenings and weekends to meet your urgent care needs.
In our Birth Center qualified, skilled and experienced nurses strive to provide high quality care for women by respecting choices and honoring her family and her cultural needs through a full range of safe options for birth. Prenatal educators can be reached at any time to answer questions or concerns you may have. We are here for you, day and night, both in pregnancy and once you are home with your new baby.
Volunteers make a world of difference at RAMC. Our volunteers are an important and appreciated part of Reedsburg Area Medical Center! More than 200 volunteers donated almost 20,000 hours in 2012! There are over 30 different areas in which volunteers give their time.

Our Vision - Reedsburg Area Medical Center is a non-profit, non-stock corporation, which exists for the benefit of the people of Reedsburg and surrounding areas. the governance of the corporation shall be charged iwth fulfiling the directive and obligations imposed by our mission state and corporate by-laws.
The Center will provide management, clinical and support services to campus based organizations to the extent requested and within the scope of its mission, values and visions.
The main function of the Center is to provide primary care services. Primary care services consist of but are not limited to: acute care, long-term care, urgent/emergency care, diagnostic services, rehabilitation, community outreach, and wellness. Diversification and expansion of primary care services will be considered in response to the needs of the population. Determination of need will be made through professional judgment and, at times, through conducted surveys of the community. Within economic limitations and operational priority, the Center will creatively utilize technologies of proven value. In doing so, we seek to remain current and competitive with oun our service fields.
The Center will strive to insure that all needed services are available. To this end, the Center will expand in accordance with the needs of the community and will work with legislative bodies to insure that regulation of healthcare does not compromise the health of its community.
The Center's growth is a natural consequence of expanded services. Such growth will occur within the limits of Reedsburg Area Medical Center's capabilities and resources. However, in response to demonstrated need, the Center commits itself to obtaining the resources necessary for the provision of new services. To this end, the Center will support the efforts of Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation, Ltd. with fund development. The Center will also consider affiliations as an alternative means of obtaining needed resources. Such associations will be made in the best interest of the community without compromising the integrity, clinical decision-making, or image of the Center or any of its campus related organizations.
The Center's Medical Staff will continue to emphasize the specialties of family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine/cardiology, and general surgery. The addition of secondary medical staff specialties will be considered in response to identified needs. To this end, the Center will collaborate with the medical staff in recruitment efforts.
The center is firmly commmitted to a teaching role. Provision of health education to the medical staff, employees, patients, and the community will remain a high priority.
We recognize that our human resources are essential to the organization's operation and will provide opportunities for them to improve clinical/professional skills and knowledge. The Center will provide financial, educational, and personal benefits to promote recruitment, retention, development and satisfaction.
