RAMC is currently taking sign-ups for July Safe Sitter classes. Registration is required due to limited space. A fee of $35 had covered the class, but due to a generous gift from Partners of RAMC, the class fee for this intensive program has been reduced to just $20/student for the day. Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. Safe Sitters learn:
• What to do when a child chokes
• Safety for the sitter
• How to call for emergency help
• Babysitting business skills
• Basic childcare skills – diapering, feeding, etc.
• How to entertain children and keep them safe.
