The Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation was honored to donate three lifesaving AED’s to the School District of Reedsburg. The new AED units will replace outdated ones at Westside Elementary and Pineview Elementary School, and will add a second AED unit at Webb Middle School.
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a portable, easy to use medical device that is designed to analyze the heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation to restore the heart rhythm to normal.
