Even under the best circumstances, insurance, billing, and other financial considerations can be confusing. We want you to know that RAMC is here to support you and answer questions every step of the way.

Financial Assistance

Should you need help paying your medical bills, there are resources to ease the burden for those who are unable or have limited ability to pay for emergency or medically necessary care. Find out more about our Community Care and Financial Assistance Policy.

Is My Provider Covered?

 

The following RAMC Medical Staff Groups ARE covered by the RAMC Financial Assistance Program:

  • RAMC Physicians Group
  • RAMC Specialty/Consulting Providers
  • Emergency Department (Madison Emergency Physicians)
  • RAMC Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
  • RAMC Advanced Practice Professionals

RAMC bills these providers through our business services department and qualify for our Financial Assistance (Community Care) program.

The following Physician groups ARE NOT covered by the RAMC Financial Assistance Program:

  • UW Physicians Group
  • Marshfield Lab Providers
  • Madison Radiology (Lucid Health)
  • Apogee Physician Providers
  • Medical Associates of Baraboo
  • Any Ambulance service
