"My area of medicine is Infectious Disease. I feel like Infectious Disease is almost like a treasure map in that we have to follow the clues as an ID specialist for a final diagnosis. Clues may be hidden deep in a patient's history or laboratory work which can be easily overlooked. It's gratifying to find answers to these details. Also unlike chronic conditions, most diseases in infectious disease can be completely cured.

In my free time, I like to explore the city I am in or neighboring cities. I like to go through antique shops, kayak through a city, ghost tours, and I'm that person who will read a plaque in a park about influential people of that city."
