With a 100% rating in Feeding Practices, Feeding Education and Discharge Support and an overall score of 91%, this recognition underscores the hospital’s unwavering commitment to supporting optimal practices for mothers and infants.
The mPINC survey is a national benchmark that evaluates Immediate Postpartum Care, Rooming-In, Feeding Practices, Feeding Education and Support, Discharge Support and Institutional Management at hospitals providing maternity services.
The Birth Center team is focused on providing exceptional care for mothers and newborns, says Pam Dregney, Director of the Birth Center at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. “We are committed to providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based care regarding infant feeding practices.”
This year, over 2,000 maternity care settings participated. With an average score of 82 across the United States, The Birth Center at Reedsburg Area Medical Center’s total score highlights the hospital’s leadership in promoting maternal and infant health.
