Christine Trautman, MD Joins Reedsburg Area Medical Center Physicians Group

Reedsburg Area Medical Center: We are excited to announce that Christine Trauman, MD joins us at Reedsburg Area Medical Center Physicians Group, located in Reedsburg Wisconsin.  Dr. Trautman specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and is now accepting new patients.

Dr. Trautman received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2008. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2012 and has over 14 years of experience, treating women of all ages.

Women’s health and wellness is an important area in medicine. Every woman is unique and her healthcare needs can change over time. It is important to find a women’s health specialist who can be there throughout many stages of life.

Dr. Trautman has extensive experience in the treatment of women’s health issues.  Key services that she provides are yearly exams, prenatal-delivery obstetrics care, contraception management, sexual health, pelvic floor evaluation, treatment of menstrual disorders, preconception counseling, and menopause care just to name a few.

Dr. Trautman states,  “When asked to describe my philosophy of women’s healthcare I think of advocacy. When I am caring for and treating a patient, I see her as a unique individual and I advocate for her. I also pride myself in the relationship I develop with my patients in that it is a collaborative one. I work to help my patients understand all treatment options. Together, we decide what is ultimately chosen.” 

Dr. Trauman is now seeing patients at the RAMC Physicians Group location.
