The word 'midwife' means with woman. Midwives are specially trained professionals who care for women from adolescence to beyond menopause. This includes care and management during pregnancy, labor, and after birth.
We are fortunate to have an amazing midwife on staff at RAMC. Ame Fischer has been with us since 2020. She provides top-notch care to women and has delivered many, many babies.
