RAMC Cardiac Rehab celebrated Cardiac Rehab week Feb. 9-15, with dress up days and a quiz for a chance to win a door prize. We asked some of our dedicated participants how cardiac rehab has helped them and some responses were: “become stronger,” “stay out of the hospital,” “rebuild stamina, rebuild strength,” “helping me to get stronger and showing me how to eat better foods,” and “recover my health.”
Cardiac rehabilitation is not just about physical recovery, it’s a comprehensive approach that combines exercise, nutrition, psychosocial support, and lifestyle changes. Our team focuses on individualized care, providing guidance on heart-healthy habits, exercise routines, and mental well-being strategies. From helping patients build strength and stamina to addressing emotional health and stress, cardiac rehab offers support system for those recovering from heart events.
