"At Reedsburg Area Medical Center my role is to be a consultant in cardiology meaning, if people have heart problems and their family provider feels they need some further advising on their patients they consult me. I will then either provide consulting advice or provide direct care for the patient. What I find most rewarding about my career is two-fold. First is teaching both medical professionals and patients. The teaching aspect has always been an important part of the satisfaction I have of being a cardiologist. The second aspect is to see how my patients respond to the therapeutic measures that we make.
Hobbies include playing the piano and like to ski. But in terms of what I do on a regular basis I really like to care for patients.
I’m excited to be here in Reedsburg. Excited to care for rural patients."
