If you’ve been diagnosed with a pulmonary disease or if you have symptoms such as shortness of breath at rest or with activity, we can help. Our respiratory therapists will help you evaluate, treat and manage respiratory illnesses to ultimately, improve your lung function.

Our therapists work closely with your physician to provide you with services including:

  • Arterial blood gas sampling

  • Bronchial hygiene therapy

  • Education on chronic lung disease

  • Medication delivery and education

  • Non-invasive ventilation

  • Pulmonary function testing

  • Set up of home nebulizer therapy

  • Testing for home oxygen therapy

  • Ventilator management

  • Volume expansion therapy

Pulmonary Telemedicine

Pulmonary Telemedicine is provided by Dr. Italiano and Dr. Khedr of BEAM Telemedicine. 

You may need to see a Pulmonologist if you have:
  • Asthma
     
  • COPD
     
  • Emphysema
     
  • Interstitial lung disease
     
  • Pulmonary hypertension
     
  • Pulmonary nodules
     
  • Other pulmonary diseases

We offer appointments with a pulmonologist through Telemedicine twice per month (usually falling on a Wednesday or Thursday). The pulmonologist is present at the appointment via a robot. A respiratory therapist will be in the room, perform a physical if needed, and communicate with the provider. The provider can then evaluate, diagnose and treat the patient.

A referral from your provider is required. Please note – not all insurances cover telemedicine services. Upon referral, coverage will be verified.
