“Liv has shown extraordinary dedication, compassion, and life-changing impact on a mutual patient. This patient has been facing not only severe mental health struggles, but also significant barriers to accessing care due to what he believed was a lack of insurance. Demonstrating exceptional initiative and empathy, Liv took it upon herself to investigate his coverage—a task well beyond the typical scope of a therapist’s responsibilities. Through her efforts, she discovered that the patient did, in fact, have insurance he was unaware of, allowing him to receive the care he urgently needed. The patient has since shared with me that without her help, he would have attempted suicide multiple times. I truly do not think this patient would be here today without her excellent and compassionate care.”
