Lynn’s Legacy Project Donates to RAMC: Spreading Comfort & Hope

RAMC received Lynn's Legacy donation bags

Since 2008, Sauk County Home and Community Education (HCE) has been delivering care and comfort to local cancer patients through Lynn’s Legacy gift bags. This heartfelt initiative was inspired by Lynn Zick, a dedicated HCE member who bravely fought breast cancer in 2005. To honor her journey and support others facing similar challenges, we created these special care packages.

What’s in a Lynn’s Legacy Bag?
Each gift bag contains essential personal care items like lotions, toothpaste, hand sanitizers, lip balm, baby shampoo, and foot cream—all chosen with care to be safe for patients with sensitive immune systems. Handmade knit, crocheted, or sewn caps and scarves are often included as well.

Where Do the Bags Go?
HCE delivers these comfort bags to cancer patients at:
✔️ Reedsburg Area Medical Center
✔️ St. Clare Hospital Radiation Therapy
✔️ Dean Outpatient Oncology Department in Baraboo
✔️ Sauk Prairie Healthcare Hospital and Clinics
✔️ Sauk County residents receiving treatment elsewhere in Wisconsin

How You Can Help
Thanks to the generosity of our community—friends, neighbors, and local businesses—HCE continues to provide these meaningful gifts. Your donations and support make a difference!

For more information please contact Pam Felland, HCE Lynn’s Legacy Project Contact, at 608-522-4942.

Together, we can bring comfort, strength, and hope to those fighting cancer.
