Representative Tony Kurtz recently visited RAMC as part of his ongoing dedication to learn more about the challenges of sustaining rural healthcare maternity units. During his visit, members of the leadership team highlighted RAMC’s proactive strategies to protect and grow our maternity program. To ensure consistent, high-quality local care, we rely on modern facilities, a team-based on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage, and deeply collaborative care models.
RAMC thanks Rep. Kurtz for his commitment to rural healthcare and the residents of his district. Thank you also to the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) and their Maternal Services Coordinator, Kelsi Craker, for coordinating these visits as part of their commitment to safeguarding safe, rural maternity care.
