About Chadd DeGrush
“As a psychiatric provider, I believe one of the most important parts of mental health care is creating an environment where patients feel heard, respected, understood, and supported. My goal is to develop a collaborative relationship with each patient while helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion, dignity, and evidence-based care.
My approach to psychiatric treatment is shaped by over two decades of experience in healthcare, including critical care nursing, emergency medicine, military medicine, and inpatient psychiatry. These experiences have allowed me to care for patients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives and have reinforced the importance of treating the whole person — biologically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually.
I believe effective psychiatric care begins with listening. Together, we work to identify contributing factors to emotional distress, evaluate medical and mental health concerns, and develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, behavioral strategies, and lifestyle interventions. My goal is to provide practical, compassionate care that helps patients improve functioning, restore hope, and achieve greater stability and wellness.
I was born and raised in the Wisconsin Dells area and attended Wisconsin Dells High School. My wife and I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, landscaping, and working on projects around our property. We are active in our local church community and strive to live our lives in accordance with our Christian faith. I also enjoy attending University of Wisconsin–Madison sporting events and have been a longtime Badger football season-ticket holder, attending several basketball games each year. One of my greatest joys is supporting my son in his athletic pursuits throughout the year, including attending football games in the fall, track meets in the spring, and participating in football camps with him during the summer months.
I look forward to working with you and being part of your journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.”
