“Dani has been a great asset to the Diabetes Care Department. Her caring approach is particularly appreciated by her patients. She recently assisted a patient with starting treatment using an insulin pump. This patient has struggled a bit with managing the insulin pump independently. Dani has reached out to the patient many times, by phone and virtually, to assist the patient in trouble-shooting, even on her days off and over the weekend. She truly cares about her patients. Her willingness to meet patients where they are and assist them to be successful in managing their diabetes is remarkable. This is a recent example of her “going beyond the expected” as a diabetes educator.”
