The Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC) dedicated the new, replacement Physicians Group Clinic to honor philanthropists, Don and Barbara Carrig on Monday, August 4, 2025. The dedication included the unveiling of new building signage to recognize Don and Barbara. The RAMC Physicians Group is located on the RAMC campus, with the entrance off of Ridgeview Drive, Reedsburg, WI.
“On behalf of a grateful community, RAMC is thrilled to add to our new, replacement Physicians Group Clinic signage in honor of Don and Barbara,” Bob Van Meeteren, President & CEO of RAMC said. “Don and Barbara care deeply for the people of Reedsburg and have supported many worthy causes. Their gifts to RAMC have enabled us to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community and their extraordinary support is literally saving lives. They have made a huge difference for the people we serve!”
Don and Barbara Carrig led and contributed to the Here We Grow capital campaign to build the new, replacement Physicians Group Clinic on the RAMC Campus. They kicked-off the campaign with a $1 million donation and recently pledged an additional $1 million for RAMC.
Don and Barbara also contributed more than $175,000 to the renovations to the former Physicians Group clinic building that will bring Scenic Bluffs Community Health Center to Reedsburg to open a dental clinic.
“Barbara and I love Reedsburg. We are continually impressed by the growth in this city and we know that RAMC needs our support to keep up with the healthcare needs of the people they serve,” Don Carrig said. “We have been greatly blessed throughout our lives and we want to make investments that will take care of our friends, neighbors and the people who live here. We are honored to see our name on this beautiful new clinic that has already made such a difference.”
RAMC dedicated the building with new signage that was unveiled during the event.
