“On Saturday, June 21, Johnny came in to water plants because he was concerned they wouldn’t fare well until his scheduled shift Monday due to the extreme heat. As he was watering he came across someone in the PG parking lot. This person had been in a wheelchair and was found laying in the parking lot by Johnny, with her face directly on the hot asphalt. Johnny took his shirt off and placed it under the person’s head, called 911 and stayed with her until help arrived. Thank you Johnny for the compassion you showed this person (as well as the lovely flowers on our campus)!”
